May 20, 2008

May 20, 2008 is tomorrow. Kentucky and Oregon will hold tehir primaries. Its anticipated Kentucky will go for Hillary Clinton and Oregon will go for Obama.

Obama camp is touting the argument that they will reach a significant milestone Tuesday as they marche toward the Democratic nomination for president — a majority of the pledged delegates won in primaries and caucuses.

The rules are clear: whoever has the majority of the delegates by the end of the primaries is the nominee of the party with a caveat. The caveat is unless the superdelegates think otherwise. So much for democracy in action. Be that as it may, however, that is the rule.

It is in Obama's interest to not touting this argument that we reach a victory point. Waiting two weeks does not hurt.
